Capitalism vs. Socialism: A Conflict of Ideas

Some animals are territorial, others are not. Some are social, other are not. Humans appear to be among the most sociable and territorial of all. The primary resources to be acquired by primitive tribes, apart from defensible locations, are territory in which to hunt, arable land suitable for crops, tamed animals (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, etc.) forests and access to fresh water (preferably with fish). Land is the source of all biological and mineral resources; it can be “improved” by forest clearing, wild animal capture and breeding, agriculture, irrigation.
