Webex teams audio notifications not working

Make sure you know when someone sends you a chat message during a meeting. Choose to have Webex App play a unique sound on your computer when you receive a message.

When you're in a meeting, click Audio options > Audio Settings .

Click Notifications > Meetings .

Under Meeting action sounds , check I receive a message and choose a sound from the drop-down list.

Choose when to play the sound.

• Only if I'm not viewing the Chat panel —If the chat panel is hidden, the notification sound plays each time you receive a message in the meeting.
• Only for the first message in the thread —The notification sound plays only when you receive the first message in the meeting, whether the chat panel is hidden or shown.
• Always —The notification sound plays each time you receive a message in the meeting, whether the chat panel is hidden or shown.
